How do I register a "Doing Business As" (DBA) name under my Limited Liability Company (LLC)?

Note: In Montana, a 'Doing Business As' (DBA) name and an 'Assumed Business Name' (ABN) are the same thing. Both terms refer to a business name that is different from your LLC's legal name. When you register a DBA, you are officially filing an ABN with the Montana Secretary of State. So, submitting an Assumed Business Name application online means you are registering your DBA under your LLC.
