# Is Title 15, or is a tax certificate needed?

You must apply online through the MT Dept of Revenue. Please visit [tap.dor.mt.gov](https://tap.dor.mt.gov/). An approved certificate will be sent by email. Once you have received this document, save it on your computer.

· Filings that require submitting a Tax Certificate (Title 15) document are reinstatements, withdrawals, and active-suspended (/tax-related). Use the online portal and upload the documents to the page.
