# Create an Account / Reset Password / Log In

How do I create an account, reset my password, or log in?
**Creating an Account**
* If you have never accessed the online filing portal located [HERE](https://biz.sosmt.gov/auth), select ‘Create an Account’ and enter the required information.
* A verification email will be sent with a link to validate your account.
* Click the link to be prompted to the login page and begin.

**Reset Password**
* If you've used the online filing portal before, located [HERE](https://biz.sosmt.gov/auth), click the ‘Reset Password’ link, enter your current username, and submit. A verification email will be sent with a link to set up your new password.
* After creating your new password, return to the login page and enter your username and the new password.

**Logging into an Existing Account**
* Click the following link to [access the login page](https://biz.sosmt.gov/auth).
* Enter your username and password to log in.
